History
Heartland is a leading wholesaler/distributor of
high quality farm, agricultural, hardware,
automotive and petroleum products.
Heartland was founded by Janeen and Lynn Wallgren in
Phillipsburg, KS in 1988. Heartland’s focus then, is
the same as it is today. It is providing quality
products and outstanding service. Heartland began by
servicing customers in rural America. We proudly
continue to service these same customers and have
expanded product offerings. Heartland services
48 continental states in the United States as well
as internationally.
Over the years Heartland has moved, expanded and
upgraded their warehouse three times where they now
reside in a 23,000 square foot warehouse and office
complex.
In 2014 Jim Bryant purchased the company from Janeen
and Lynn Wallgren. Jim recognizes these same
fundamental customer focused values. Since the acquisition, Heartland
has experienced growth by expanding products,
services, warehouse capacity and account
representatives to increase Heartland’s value to its
customers.
“We have a knowledgeable customer orientated staff. For us it
is about how we service our customers, how we
deliver quality products in a timely manner and how
we communicate and service their needs,” said
Bryant. “We are continuing to look to the future and
making opportunities come true.”

and has never lost sight of our local Heartland
service areas in CO, KS, IA, MO, NE and OK.
