WHAT IS AmerSeal Tire Sealant?

AmerSeal is a scientifically developed preventive maintenance chemical that is a premium heavy duty tire sealant for commercial and industrial tires that are subject to hard, heavy use.

AmerSeal will virtually eliminate flat tires from tread punctures or other leaks.  AmerSeal properly installed in a tire will provide full protection against air loss for the life of a tire.

AmerSeal is designed to not only seal tread punctures, but also bead leaks, rim leaks, porosity leaks, and tire or wheel related leaks.  The chemical make up of AmerSeal allows it to always stay fluid so that it immediately seals any tread punctures or leaks where air can escape from the tire.

AmerSeal seals the tire to maintain proper inflation and will seal punctures up to 1/4 inch in the tread area of the tire.   Because of these functions, AmerSeal gives you the benefits of:

Characteristics of AmerSeal

This exceptional product combines an ethylene-glycol based solution with natural fibers, artificial fiber, adhesion agents, corrosion inhibitors and other solids.  It is designed to keep the fibers and solids in constant suspension.  Because there is no settling of the solids and fibers, AmerSeal is always ready to work for you.  No mixing, stirring or other preparation is necessary.  The adhesion properties in AmerSeal coupled with the fact that it remains fluid when installed in the tire provides constant protection for all parts of the tire.

How Does AmerSeal Work?

AmerSeal is installed quickly and easily through the valve stem with our injection pump, without deflating the tire.  When the vehicle is driven, the fluid action of the sealant causes the entire interior surface of the tire to  be coated.  The adhesion properties keep the sealant in place at all times, ready to seal any source of air loss.  The tire is now protected from any puncture or other leaks for the remaining life of the tire.  AmerSeal in the tire also helps to dissipate the heat caused by road friction allowing the tire to run much cooler.

When a puncture occurs, centrifugal force of the rotating tire and the internal pressure forces AmerSeal into the hole.  This forms a temporary seal, and as the tire continues to turn, the flexing action causes more material to go into the hole.  A permanent seal is caused as the hole is packed with the fiber and other sealing agents.

When the puncturing object is removed, the vehicle should be driven in order to duplicate the above procedure.  Once this has taken place the seal is permanent and will last for the life of the tire.  AmerSeal will seal holes up to 1/4 inch in diameter; depending on the size of the puncture, larger holes will normally seal if they are near the center of the tread area.  A puncture that occurs while driving the vehicle will seal almost instantly and very little air will be lost before a permanent seal is made.

EASY TO USE
AmerSeal is ready to use with no mixing of special preparation needed.  And since there is not need to completely deflate the tire, it only takes a few minutes to install with our hand injector pump.

NO MESS
AmerSeal is completely water soluble for easy clean out of a tire if recapping or patching a large puncture is required.

WON'T HARM TIRE OR WHEEL
AmerSeal sealing action is completely mechanical--there is not chemical reaction that might harm the tire or cause corrosion on the wheel.

WILL NOT SEPARATE
AmerSeal will remain effective for the life of the tire.

STAYS IN PLACE
AmerSeal will not migrate to the bottom of the tire when the vehicle is stopped.  AmerSeal stays in place to provide permanent protection against flats and slow air leaks.

EFFECTIVE IN COLD WEATHER
AmerSeal remains fluid and effective in temperatures down to -40 degrees below zero.

SAFE TO USE
AmerSeal contains no asbestos fiber.  As a safety precaution eye protection is recommended when injecting AmerSeal into high pressure industrial or commercial tires.
